Soils
These soils are from alluvional origin with loam and clay characteristics with some smaller areas with a decent percentage of sand. Here, we are facing very homogeneous and deep soils with more than 2 meters of depth with good drainage capability. Thanks to a combination of flood and drip irrigation techniques, we have managed to develop root systems that go beyond the 2 meter mark.
This is a prime location for the cultivation of the malbec varietal. With such a soil profile we expect a malbec possessing great complexity, smooth tannins, and a balanced acidity/ripeness ratio.
